For me this is the best of a hands-down terrific Chardonnay portfolio. The flavors penetrate through layers of apple and peach, fruit skin, and juicy, spicy acids. The phenolic components give the finish weight and depth, suggesting that this forceful wine will develop further herbal details as it ages. Tasted over a full four days it not only did not disappoint, it was revelatory. Much as I loved the 2019 version this surpasses it. Just 86 cases so grab it while you can.
