Along with that are lively flavors of tart pomegranate, cranberries, raspberries and sour plums, all buoyed with ample acidity. The wine was aged in one quarter new French oak for 15 months, adding subtle touches of toast and baking spices. It's aromatic, elegant and built to cellar beautifully. Drink now and into mid-2030s.
