This cooler vintage perfectly suits the preferred style of Robert Brittan. This is focused, long and powerful yet still a finesse wine as far as expressing its subtle details. It's well-delineated with complex flavors of citrus, blackberries, tar, espresso, molten rock and graphite. Decant this if you plan on near term drinking. It should continue to develop nicely through the mid-2030s. The QPR on this wine is truly exceptional.
