L'Ecole No. 41 2019 Estate Grown Merlot
No ordinary Walla Walla Merlot, this is drawn equally from the Ferguson and Seven Hills estate vineyards, with 12% Cabernet Franc and 4% Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend. It's a serious wine, dark and deep, structured and detailed. Black fruits, earth, coffee, dark chocolate and blackened walnut flavors are in play, with ripe and plush tannins for support. This is certainly ageworthy and yet drinks well already. Absolutely brilliant from start to finish.
