Troon 2020 Syrah

There is a lovely floral top note here, along with generous varietal-specific flavors of purple berries, umami hints of dried seaweed, chamomile and espresso. It's lighter than some previous releases but nicely balanced through the finish. Strictly allocated. It's possible that a new vintage is just around the corner but this is still the current listing on the website. 250 cases; 13.9%, $40 (Applegate Valley)
