This limited reserve is given extra bottle age to integrate flavors and soften tannins, all to good effect. Floral, fruit, whole berry and French puncheon flavors combine in a graceful, powerful and complex wine. Flavors and highlights of crushed raspberries, black currants, red licorice, breakfast tea and cigar smoke thread through an extraordinary finish. The longer it breathes, the more it delights. And yes, it was still tasting great on day three!
