The back label of Chris and Dawn Loeliger's Quip reads "when we learned our last name means 'village idiot' we did a dance, told a joke, and started a winery." I've never read a more charming introduction to a bottle of wine. This is all Mourvèdre from the Sugarloaf vineyard in the Rattlesnake Hills AVA. It's spicy, textured and detailed, with peppery strawberry fruit backed with ample acids. It's everything you could wish for in a Washington rosé.
