Calera 2018 Jensen Vineyard Pinot Noir

At the World of Pinot Noir held in Santa Barbara earlier this month the number of exceptional wines being poured was mind-boggling. And yet after tasting well over a hundred wines (lost count at 100!) this one stood out. The unique soils, undergirding of mineral, elegant frame and delicate yet profound fruit simply sang for me. Calera is now part of the Duckhorn portfolio and clearly remains in good hands.
